
Bettina Jensen
Soprano
Born in Hamburg, soprane Bettina Jensen grew up in a musical environment. After she graduated from high school she moved to Berlin an studied singing. She has been working as a freelance artist since 2008 and has established herself both on German stages and internationally. Her musical versatility is not only evident in the opera house, but also in her work as a song and concert singer.

Bettina Jensen grew up in a musical environment and sang in the choir of St. Michaeliskirche in Hamburg from an early age. Her outstanding voice did not go unnoticed by the singing teacher Judith Beckmann, who taught her from then on. After graduating from high school, Jensen moved to Berlin to study singing at the Hanns Eisler School of Music with Norma Sharp. She also attended masterclasses with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Hermann Prey and Peter Schreier, among others, with whom she maintained both a musical and personal friendship over the years.
