Barucco was founded out of a passion for historical performance practice and a deep interest in the world of music by conductor Heinz Ferlesch and oboist Andreas Helm. The ensemble’s goal is to interpret music authentically while offering a vibrant and passionate performance. The repertoire includes both major works of the Baroque and Classical periods as well as rarely performed gems from these eras.
