Bar Zemach

Horn & Shofar

Internationally recognized, including by The Jewish Chronicle, Bar Zemach is a horn player who has expanded the expressive possibilities of his instrument through innovative performance concepts. Alongside his work on the horn, he is also the first known musician to present the shofar melodically and chromatically as a concert soloist.
In the past two years, composers have written new works especially for him, highlighting his artistic profile as a horn soloist. He premiered one of these pieces at his debut at the Berlin Philharmonie, performing in a unique program that combined both horn and shofar.
